Before selecting classes, note that courses listed as 'Fully restricted' are only open to UW degree-seeking students admitted to a specialized program.  They are not available to exchange students or to most other UW students.  You will not be able to attend these courses.

It is also important to note that exchange students may take a maximum of 3 courses in one department per semester.

You will not be able to web enroll in Real Estate courses.  If space is available the first day, attend class and obtain the instructor's permission to enroll. Most grad courses are restricted to Real Estate majors.

Classes outside the School of Business:

You may or may not be able to enroll in courses outside the School of Business, depending on whether or not those courses require "prerequisites," or certain UW preparation courses.

In the case where you are blocked from enrolling in a course outside the School of Business because of prerequisites, it is your responsibility to e-mail the professor of that course to ask for individual authorization. The professor will ask you for evidence that you have taken classes at your home university that adequately prepare you for their course.

Once the professor has made sure you are academically prepared to enroll in their class, they will need your UW student ID number so they can authorize you to enroll online in their course. This process usually takes at least a few days.
