International Programs

We encourage all students to consider study abroad and to do it!

It will change your life for the better. UW-Madison business students now have even more opportunities overseas in exotic and interesting places. Exchange students from our partner schools get a warm Wisconsin welcome here. Check us out!

Studying abroad is the best decision you will ever make, so let us help you get there!

International Programs works in partnership with the Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) to provide study abroad opportunities to UW-Madison students, to assist international students who participate in an exchange between their university and the School of Business, and to support the international business curriculum.

  • Prospective UW-Madison Students

    • Please come visit us in the office in 2266 Grainger Hall to talk about the opportunities available to you for next year. Click on the drop down Study Abroad menu at left for lots of useful information.
  • International Programs offers placements in 23 programs in 18 countries. If you have an interest in a country not currently represented, please send an email to international@bus.wisc.edu.   We will be considering new options.

The application for Spring 2009 will be available for printing in September and is due October 1 for most programs. Some programs have early deadlines.

  • If you are interested in an international internship check out the website for the new campus initiative. The UW-Madison's International Academic Internships Initiative (IAII) website is http://iaii.wisc.edu/internships.htm.
