This course focuses on the law of entrepreneurial finance and is unlike any other taught in most law schools. Relying heavily on case studies similar to those used in business schools, the course explores in detail real financial contracts. What conflicts most concern the parties? What aspects of the relationship are the parties unable to specify by contract? Do the parties really expect to enforce all of the provisions of the contract in court?
