Mark Dyer

Mark comes to the Grainger Center after three years as a senior supply chain consultant at IBM, where he focused on materials management and procurement as they pertain to implementing global ERP systems. He also spent six months in a project management role and created and presented several proposals to potential client organizations. Prior to his time with IBM, Mark worked in several different supply chain functions. At Unilever, he was the lead customer support analyst for the Cincinnati and Minneapolis metro areas. He was a transportation analyst at Ashland Distribution, focused on optimizing efficiency within the company’s distribution network. At Kraft Foods, he was a logistics intern in the operations productivity improvement group, which was tasked with developing a warehouse benchmarking system to prioritize logistics cost reduction opportunities.

Mark earned his bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University with a double major in transportation and logistics and international business. Away from work and school, Mark is an avid triathlete and marathon runner.
