Carolyn
A. Woznicki
Carolyn Woznicki is vice president of global procurement for the Building Efficiency Group of Johnson Controls in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is responsible for managing the global purchasing and supply chain activities of this group and JCI’s corporate indirect spend. Her total purchase responsibility exceeds $7 billion. She was appointed to this position in November 2005.
Prior to this appointment, Ms. Woznicki was vice president and general manager of North America purchasing for the Automotive Group. She also served as the vice president and general manager of the company’s Ford Business Unit. Before that, she was a vehicle line executive in the company’s DaimlerChrysler Business Unit and director of purchasing. She joined the company in 1998.
Prior to joining Johnson Controls, Ms. Woznicki worked in a variety of supplier quality, purchasing, and manufacturing positions at General Motors Corporation for over 18 years. She is also on the board of directors for Brazeway, a $120M manufacturing company.
In 1991, Ms. Woznicki earned a master’s degree in business administration from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. She also holds a bachelor of science degree in industrial administration from General Motors Institute (now known as Kettering University) in Flint, Michigan, which she completed in 1985.
