Steven
Loehr
Steve Loehr graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1988 with a degree in industrial engineering. He has held technical and management positions across the supply chain covering industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, materials, procurement, supply/demand planning, and manufacturing management. He has experience in multiple levels of technology assembly/packaging, from printed circuit board manufacturing, to electrical card assembly and test, to systems assembly and fulfillment. He has global operational experience, having managed factories for IBM in the United States, Europe, and also in a short-term role in Asia.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Loehr was director of worldwide manufacturing operations for IBM’s integrated supply chain, with responsibility for operating budget, strategy deployment, and delivery for IBM’s 11 systems assembly and fulfillment sites worldwide. In his current role as vice president of operations for IBM’s System x, he has responsibility for leading IBM cross-functional activities to deliver brand growth, PTI, inventory attainment, and delivery objectives.
Mr. Loehr is the executive sponsor for the Mid-Hudson Valley People with Disabilities Network Group and is the partnership executive for Parker Hannifin Corporation. Locally in Dutchess County, New York, Mr. Loehr is a board member for the Mid-Hudson Children’s Museum.
