Strategic Plan and Annual Report
The Strategic Plan and Annual Report for the School of Business are now available online.

Undergraduate Business Program Rated 11th - Real Estate Ranked 2nd, Risk Ranked 3rd
U.S. News & World Report ranks UW-Madison 11th among undergraduate business programs. Real estate was ranked second and insurance/risk management was ranked third. Nine additional UW business majors were among the top 20.

Marketing Faculty’s Research Ranked #1 in Study of Research Influence
Marketing professors at the UW-Madison School of Business were ranked as the most influential in the United States for research.

Harley-Davidson’s Teerlink Kicks Off Executive Leadership Series
Richard Teerlink, retired chairman and CEO of Harley-Davidson, kicks off this year’s Dean’s Executive Leadership Series Sept. 4 at 7:30 p.m.

New Assistant Dean for Master’s Programs Named
Sandra Kelzenberg joins the School of Business as the assistant dean for master's programs on September 2. For the past 17 years, Kelzenberg has been involved in MBA administration at the University of Minnesota.

The School of Business begins the fall semester with three new members of the faculty, a new visiting professor and a new lecturer.

Service Dog to Be Grainger Hall Regular
Seen a golden retriever in Grainger Hall lately? It’s most like Weber, a service dog being trained by Teaching Professor Belinda Mucklow. Service dogs provide increased independence and improved quality of life for people with physical disabilities.

Bolz Center Organizes “Cultural Dynamics Project”
The Bolz Center for Arts Administration, in partnership with two national organizations, will help re-envision arts administration and the business of arts and culture with a roundtable in October.

Conference on China Slated
“Doing Business in and with China – Lessons Learned by Small and Mid-Sized U.S. Manufacturers” will be held October 29. The conference is organized by the Erdman Center and sponsored by the Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) and the Wisconsin Manufacturing Extension Partnership (WMEP).

A program on Outsourcing Information Technology and Services to India will be held Wednesday, September 24, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and a panel discussion,“China: Current State of Affairs” will be held Tuesday, September 9.
