Actuarial Science, Risk Management and Insurance Professor to Receive Mentoring Award
Marjorie A. Rosenberg, associate professor, Actuarial Science, Risk Management & Insurance and Biostatistics & Medical Informatics, will receive the 2007 Doris Slesinger Award for Excellence in Mentoring presented by the Women Faculty Mentoring Program. The award was created to celebrate the work of individuals who help women faculty achieve their goals and reach their potential. The award is named for Doris Slesinger, professor emeritus of Rural Sociology. Rosenberg will be recognized at the Reception for Newly Promoted and Tenured Women on Nov. 8 at the University Club.
