Faculty Lounge to Be Named in Memory of Emeritus Dean James C. Hickman

The new faculty lounge, when the Grainger Hall addition opens in fall 2008, will be named in memory of the late Jim Hickman.

The Department of Employee Trust Funds (ETF) will broadcast a public employee benefits presentation live on the Internet on Thursday, Nov. 8, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Two Alumni to Appear on “Wisconsin Reflections”

Aaron Kennedy, MBA ‘89, founder and chairman of Noodles & Company, and
Scott VanderSanden, EMBA ’00, president of AT&T Wisconsin, will be featured on separate programs of Wisconsin Reflections, a new program on Big Ten TV.

Dean’s Holiday Party Announced

The Dean’s Holiday party for Wisconsin School of Business faculty and staff will take place on Friday, Dec. 14 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. in 5120 Grainger Hall. All are encouraged to attend and join in the festivities.

Wisconsin MBAs Place Second in National Case Competition

A team of Wisconsin MBA students took second place in a Mergers and Acquisitions Case Competition at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business.
