A team of School of Business undergraduates earned second place in a national competition
sponsored by the U.S. Department of State.
School of Business students and alumni recently placed among the top finalists in two business
plan competitions.
Several individuals from the School of Business were involved in the International Conference
on Information Systems, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management (ILS) held in May in Lyon, France.
People and programs of the School of Business have been in the news.
The Women in Business Council (WIBC) of the School of Business will host an 18-hole golf
scramble on Aug. 21 to benefit scholarships for women in MBA programs.
The School of Business will host the Wisconsin Evening MBA Class of 2006 graduation ceremony
and brunch on Saturday, July 8 at the Fluno Center for Executive Education.
Dean Michael Knetter and Wisconsin Business Alumni will hold a networking event for alumni in
Milwaukee in July.
Ray A. Gilmore, a PhD candidate in risk management and insurance, was
selected to receive the distinguished State Farm Companies Foundation
Doctoral Dissertation Award
The next issue of the School of Business Gazette will be distributed Aug. 1. Submissions
