Two CIBER Programs Set for First Week of December

The UW-Madison Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) will co-sponsor an afternoon event focused on strategic business opportunities in the Maghreb region, highlighting Tunisia and Morocco on Dec. 1. Other co-sponsors include the Madison International Trade Association (MITA), the UW-Platteville International Business Resource Center and the UW-Madison Center for World Affairs and the Global Economy (WAGE). On Dec. 2, a program on U.S.-China Trade Relations and the WTO will be held at 206 Ingraham Hall from noon to 1 p.m. Amy Celico, deputy director of the Office of Chinese Economic Area at the U.S. Department of Commerce, will speak. CIBER is sponsoring this event with the UW-Madison Center for World Affairs and the Global Economy (WAGE) and several other campus organizations.
