Professor Mark Browne has been named to the Gerald D. Stephens CPCU Chair in Risk Management and Insurance.

Sixth Annual Share the Holidays Project
School of Business employees can again participate in an “Adopt a Family” project benefiting a family serviced by Domestic Abuse Intervention Services.

Holiday Party Slated for December 18
The School of Business Holiday Party for faculty and staff will be held 3 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 18 at the Fluno Center .

Evening MBA Scholarship for Business School Employee
The School of Business offers a Dean's Scholarship to a School of Business employee admitted to the Evening MBA Program for fall 2004.

Annual Partners in Giving Campaign Ending Soon
The annual Partners in Giving combined campaign of State, University and UWHC employees supports more than 400 charities in Dane County .

Successful China Conference Held
The conference on “Doing Business in and with China – Lessons Learned by Small and Mid-Sized U.S. Manufacturers,” drew about 155 people, mostly from Wisconsin industries.

CIBER News
Faculty are asked to submit year-end reports on their international business-related research; the deadline for Global Research/Curriculum Development Program is April 1; CIBER will sponsor an event with the Madison International Trade Association .

Undergrad Office and CIBER to Host Open House
The Undergraduate Programs Office and the Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) will host their annual Holiday Open House on December 17, from 3-4:30 p.m.

Real Estate Professor Stephen Malpezzi and Richard Green, formerly a real estate professor at the UW-Madison School of Business, have co-authored a book.

Next Executive Leadership Speaker: Alliant Energy's Erroll Davis, Jr.
Davis will be the speaker at the December 4, Dean's Executive Leadership Series. A reception to celebrate with the December master's graduates will follow.

MBA Team Finishes in Top 20 of Thunderbird Innovation Challenge
A team of MBA students from the UW-Madison School of Business finished in the top 20 in the 2003 Thunderbird Innovation Challenge.
