A team of Wisconsin School of Business supply chain management MBA students won second place in this year’s Sam M. Walton College of Business International Graduate Logistics Case Competition in Fayetteville, Ark.

Each year the Wisconsin MBA Program hosts a diversity event that brings prospective students to campus from across the country.

During the MBA Celebration on April 23, Associate Dean Ken Kavajecz was presented with a framed copy of the Wisconsin MBA Exit Pledge. Wisconsin is the second MBA program in the country to adopt an exit pledge for its graduates.

The full-time Wisconsin MBA competed in the 2009 Big 10 Case Competition held in Columbus, Ohio. Wisconsin also competed in the 2009 CIBER Case Competition, in Lawrence, Kan.

The Wisconsin MBA will host a graduation brunch on Saturday, May 16 at the Fluno Center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the graduating full-time MBA Class of 2009. Faculty and staff are invited to attend.

The Wisconsin MBA team raised $9,313 for Special Olympics by participating in the group’s Polar Plunge fundraiser.

The full-time MBA Program will host orientation events for the incoming Class of 2010. International MBA Orientation is on Monday, August 18 and the MBA Experience will be held August 19-27.
