WREAA Trends Conference Held in Chicago

The biennial Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association (WREAA) Trends Conference was held in Chicago on Sept. 16-17. This year’s conference, “Road Map to Recovery,” served as a venue for nearly 200 Wisconsin Real Estate alumni, affiliates, faculty, and MBA students to collectively discuss business trends and opinions on where the industry is heading.

Graaskamp Center Co-Sponsors Research Conference with the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta

The Graaskamp Center for Real Estate and the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta partnered to present a unique two-day conference in Atlanta, Ga,. on Sept. 25-26. The event brought together leading academics and professionals from throughout the country to discuss research on topics including foreclosures, income/wealth and housing, house prices, and geography and labor. There were approximately 40 attendees, including Wisconsin School of Business Professors Abdullah Yavas, Stephen Malpezzi, Morris Davis and François Ortalo-Magné. Another conference will be held in the spring at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
