Marketing Services Debuts New Work-request Process
October 1, 2009Marketing Services has launched a new process for initiating print and web marketing projects.
The new site was developed to give Marketing Services’ clients an easy way to submit project requests. By asking for critical information on both strategy and specifics up front, Marketing Services hopes to streamline the creative development process and reduce turnaround time.
Marketing Services clients have already been filling out work orders and creative briefs online to get their projects started. The new site eliminates the need to know which form they require. Instead, users now click on links for the type of project they need (brochure design, web page update, and so on) and they will be automatically directed to the appropriate form.
The site is located at www.bus.wisc.edu/marketingservices. It is also linked from the Administrative Resources section of the school’s website. The forms should be used for all Executive Education and degree-side projects.
“This process is fairly new, so we will appreciate everyone’s patience while we iron out whatever kinks we encounter,” says Sarah Wortham, director of marketing services. “But we feel confident that this new system will ultimately benefit everyone in the school who makes use of our resources.”
