Wisconsin Evening MBA Students Travel to China

Fifty-five students from the Wisconsin Evening MBA Class of 2010 recently returned from their 10-day International Study Tour in Beijing, China. Prior to their departure, the students spent several class sessions learning about the geography, culture and political aspects of China. From June 19 through June 28 the group traveled in Beijing, gaining insights on the complexities of the Chinese culture and business. To gain a global perspective on conducting business, the class arranged several site visits with corporations, including: Lenovo, GE Healthcare, IBM and Johnson Controls. The students visited several famous sites n Beijing, such as the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and the Great Wall.
