Wisconsin Evening MBA Program Graduates Its Ninth Class

On Saturday, July 11, the Wisconsin School of Business held its 9th graduation and lunch reception for the Evening Class of 2009 at the Monona Terrace Convention Center. There were 42 Evening MBA graduates, representing 32 employers from the Madison, Milwaukee, and Janesville/Beloit regional areas.
Dean Mike Knetter and three representatives of Enterprise MBA Programs—Associate Dean Deborah Mitchell, Director Linda Uitvlugt, and Assistant Director Vicky Mint conferred the degrees and congratulated the new graduates. Danny Sarnowski was chosen by the graduates to be the student speaker at the ceremony. The diverse background of the Evening Class of 2009 was reflected in family members coming from as far away as Russia, India, Ireland and the Czech Republic. Following the ceremony, classmates and their families enjoyed a lunch reception.
