Marketing Professor’s Article on Family Identity Honored

Assistant Professor Amber Epp, Marketing, won the inaugural Sid Levy Award,  announced at the fourth annual Consumer Culture Theory conference. The award is for the best dissertation-based article published in a major English-language academic journal that addresses the socio-cultural aspects of consumption or market-based relationships.

The title of Epp’s award-winning paper is “Family Identity: A Framework
of Identity Interplay in Consumption Practices,” which appeared in the Journal of Consumer Research. She co-authored the paper with Linda L. Price.
