When Rodney Lynk graduates this May, he will be the first participant of the Wisconsin School of Business PEOPLE (Pre-College Enrichment Opportunity Program for Learning) to graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Wisconsin School of Business.
Edward (Jed) Frees, Actuarial Science, Risk Management and Insurance, and David Schweidel, Marketing, were honored with research awards. Student research awards were given to PhD candidates.
The full-time Wisconsin MBA competed in the 2009 Big 10 Case Competition held in Columbus, Ohio. Wisconsin also competed in the 2009 CIBER Case Competition, in Lawrence, Kan.
On April 22, the Business Career Center, MBA Career Management Center and Enterprise MBA Programs invited employers to campus to learn about the variety of students, programs and talent available throughout the Wisconsin School of Business.
Student awards were presented at the MBA Celebration on April 23.
Wisconsin School of Business faculty and staff are invited to join graduating undergraduate business students and their families at the Undergraduate Commencement Celebration on Saturday, May 16.
The Wisconsin MBA will host a graduation brunch on Saturday, May 16 at the Fluno Center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the graduating full-time MBA Class of 2009. Faculty and staff are invited to attend.
As of May 1, Nancy Thompto, office associate for the Mail Room, will handle ordering of Wisconsin School of Business letterhead and envelopes. There is a new fund number for ordering business cards.
This year’s Burrill Business Plan Competition attracted a record number of entrants.
