Case Competition Updates from the Wisconsin MBA
May 1, 2009The full-time Wisconsin MBA competed in the 2009 Big Ten Case Competition held in Columbus, Ohio. Team members were first-year MBAs: Emma Starzewski from the Bolz Center for Arts Administration, Chris Jillings from the Graaskamp Center for Real Estate, Sreejith Satheez from the Erdman Center for Operations and Technology Management and Scott Friemann from Risk Management and Insurance. Friemann received the best Q&A award at the competition.
Wisconsin also competed in the 2009 CIBER Case Competition, Lawrence, Kan.
The field was comprised of five U.S. CIBERs (Centers for International Business Education and Research and one international university. Wisconsin MBA teams members were Elena Taylor, 2nd year MBA from the Center for Brand and Product Management, first-year MBAs Ani Das and Ankit Puri from the Erdman Center for Operations Technology and Management and Ping Zhai, from the A.C. Nielsen Center for Marketing Research. The team secured a Best Industry Analysis trophy. Mark Matosian, director of student services, served as the advisor for both case competition teams.
