Grainger Hall Addition Wins Design Award

The design of the East Wing addition to Grainger Hall has received the DSF Excellence in Architectural Design award from the State of Wisconsin’s Division of State Facilities. The award was presented in February at the State Capitol by Wisconsin Senate President Fred Risser. The award was given to Zimmerman Architectural Studios, Inc., which designed the four-story, $40.5 million addition that opened in summer 2008.

Associate Dean for Administration -Melissa Amos-Landgraf, who led the construction effort for the Wisconsin School of Business, was on hand for the awards ceremony. Company President and CEO Dave Stroik attended with three other Zimmerman Architectural Studio representatives: Doug Barnes, Brian Hatzung and David Drews.
