Charlie Trevor’s research on “Downsizing Effects on Voluntary Turnover Rates” was featured in the Boston Globe and Canada’s Globe and Mail.

Associate Professor François Ortalo-Magné , Real Estate and Urban Land Economics, was quoted in Forbes magazine about the best places to buy real estate in the world market. He was also quoted in the International Herald Tribune’s “Raising the Roof” blog regarding the best places in the world to invest in real estate.

The announcement of the deanship and Dean Knetter’s new role as special assistant/liaison to the Chancellor was covered in The Economist.

Associate Dean of Enterprise MBA Deborah Mitchell talked to Smart Money magazine about holiday shopping deals. Mitchell was also quoted in an Associated Press story about Super Bowl advertisements.

Associate Professor Marjorie Rosenberg was featured in a Washington Post article on the actuarial likelihood of so many members of the 1995 AFC Championship San Diego Chargers dying young.

Mark Browne and Martin Halek presented a paper on flood insurance, which was featured in National Underwriter.

Professor Berry Gerhart, Management and Human Resources, discussed ThedaCare’s ‘”no  layoffs” policy with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Gerhart also contributed to an Human Resources Executive article examining ways companies can adapt HR policies during a down economy.

Andrew Taylor , director of the Bolz Center for Arts Administration commented on the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art in the Los Angeles Times.

Assistant Professor Morris Davis, Real Estate and Urban Land Economics, was quoted in USA Today.

Dean Mike Knetter talks about the job market in 2009 in this MSNBC article The Wisconsin School of Business was mentioned in a BusinessWeek article on diversity within business schools.
