Interactive Donor Wall Installed in New Addition

November 3, 2008

In celebration of the opening of Grainger Hall’s new East Wing and the receipt of its $85 million naming gift, the Wisconsin School of Business commissioned the design and installation of an interactive media wall to honor donors and alumni in the atrium of the new addition.

Visitors use a touchscreen interface at the donor wall to look up donors by name or by class year, and to view stories about the school on a central 52” high-definition monitor. Visitors can also view videos about the careers of the Distinguished Business Alumni award-winners and watch a welcome message from Michael Knetter, dean of the Wisconsin School of Business. Visitors can also choose to learn more about the school’s Naming Partners and investigate the resources and opportunities the school provides alumni. In addition to the Donor Wall’s interactive features, a continuous display honors some 1,000 individual donors.

The interactive Donor Wall was created and produced by Pigorsch Media Design to help the Wisconsin School of Business foster a spirit of stewardship at the school among students and alumni, and to honor an ever-expanding roster of donors with timely data and visual stories.
