Rays of Research Workshop Series Continues
July 1, 2008The Rays of Research Workshop Series, which began in June, is designed to provide a forum for intellectual and social exchange among Wisconsin School of Business faculty and doctoral students. Workshops will be held in Grainger Hall, room 1175 on Wednesdays from 3 to 4 p.m. An informal discussion and conversation, along with refreshments, will take place after each workshop at Quinton’s Bar and Deli at 319 W. Gorham Street, about two blocks past the Fluno Center.
The schedule for July is as follows:
July 2: Neeraj Arora, associate professor, Marketing, “Preference Integration: Statistical Models of How Groups Make Choice Decisions.”
July 9: Kersi Antia, assistant professor, Marketing, “Salespersons’ Use of Product Information Systems and Sales Performance: Findings from a Multi-Location Supplier-Reseller Relationship.”
July 16: Ken Kavajecz, associate professor, Finance, “What Can Equity Orderflow Tell Us About the Economy?”
July 23: Greg DeCroix, associate professor, Operations, “Managing Supply Chain Disruption Risk in an Assembly System.”
