Judy Cary Wins Friends of the Academic Advancement Program Award
June 1, 2008The Academic Advancement Program (AAP) presented Judy Cary, director of the Business Learning Center, with the “Friends of the Academic Advancement Program Award.” Cary was one of three people from the UW-Madison campus who were given the award on May 6 at the AAP Graduation and Recognition Reception. This is the first time that AAP has presented this award. The AAP program is a campus-wide academic support program devoted to retention of students and enrichment of their academic experience at UW-Madison. Cary has collaborated with AAP staff to assist AAP students with courses that the Business Learning Center supports. The primary mission of the Business Learning Center is to help students excel by providing ancillary academic support in quantitatively based business-related courses.
