Financial Aid

The Department of Finance, Investment, and Banking sponsors numerous opportunities for financial aid, including scholarships, fellowships and assistantships awarded annually.

The information and requirements for scholarships available to undergraduate students are listed in the following table.  Students may apply for these scholarships by clicking on the name of the scholarship.  The deadline for applications is generally around February 15.  By making one application, you may apply for several scholarships offered by the department.

Assistantships are generally available only to Ph.D. students, and may be either teaching, research, or project assistantships. Inquiries for assistantships should be directed to the Ph.D. Coordinator (email: uwmadphd@bus.wisc.edu) in the Graduate Programs Office of the School of Business.

In addition to scholarships, fellowships, and assistantships, the Ford Motor Company has established a fund to assist graduate students in the form of a fellowship or project assistantship in the Finance Department. Learn more...
