Close Ties
“When I began the Executive MBA program, I expected to have excellent classes from outstanding professors. I didn’t anticipate how much benefit I would receive from the other students in the program. They added immensely to the value of the experience, bringing issues from their workplaces into the classroom for discussion. Since I graduated, my fellow alumni have continued to be a tremendous resource and I expect the value of those close ties to continue.”

Graduates of the Executive MBA program say that one of the most valuable aspects of the program is the network of colleagues and lasting ties developed
through the program.
That networking begins even before the first day of class. A picnic for new and returning students and their families is held each summer. It’s followed
by a multi-day, live-in orientation program that helps establish firm friendships and a foundation for the program’s coursework.
Throughout the program, special gatherings are planned, with the culmination being a special Executive MBA graduation celebration held to complement university commencement.
Graduates of the Executive MBA program automatically become members of Wisconsin Business Alumni, a network of more than 34,000 business school alumni worldwide. Wisconsin Business Alumni sponsors gatherings throughout the world, an alumni magazine, an on-line alumni directory, special events, alumni mentoring program and many other initiatives.
Executive MBA graduates are also part of the university’s Wisconsin Alumni Association, which serves more than a quarter of a million alumni and includes a worldwide network of 115 clubs.
