Executive Education

The Executive Education unit of the UW-Madison School of Business is recognized internationally as a leader in providing top-quality business training for executives at all managerial levels. More than 400 seminars are offered annually to more than 16,000 business professionals from around the world.

Family Business Center

The Family Business Center is a membership organization comprised of a select number of Wisconsin-owned companies. It is dedicated to promoting better understanding, communication and planning for the successful continuity of the family enterprise.

 

Small Business Development Center

The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) serves small business in Dane, Sauk, and Columbia counties with a variety of services. It offers a broad spectrum of classes designed to help grow a healthy business.

In addition to classes, seminars, forums and special events, the SBDC offers a small Business Access line, 608/263-7680, where people can call and receive immediate help or a referral for a business problem.

 

Wisconsin Public Utility Institute

Founded in 1982, the mission of the Wisconsin Public Utility Institute (WPUI) is to advance understanding of public policy issues in the electricity, gas, and telecommunications industries. It provides information and education programs in addition to other services that aid in the examination and development of appropriate public policies for those industries. Its programs and services communicate the diversity of views that exist on current policy issues, particularly the leading-edge issues that will affect the future of those industries and the customers they serve.
