MBA Information Session
Students, alumni and staff from the full-time, Evening and Executive MBA Programs will be present to talk about MBA admissions, academics, career services and student life, and to answer any questions you may have.
The information session will begin in room 1310 Grainger Hall, 975 University Avenue in Madison, at 6:00 PM. Check in is from 5:45 to 6:00 PM. The information session will begin with a general overview of the MBA degree and the MBA program options at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Following the general session, we will break into smaller groups to discuss specifics of the part-time Wisconsin Evening, full-time and the Executive MBA program.
The program is scheduled to end around 7:30 PM.

M. Keith Weikel Speaker Series, featuring Colleen Goggins
Colleen Goggins, is a member of Johnson & Johnson’s Executive Committee and has served as Worldwide Chairman, Consumer & Personal Care Group since June, 2001.
Ms. Goggins joined J&J in 1981. After a series of assignments, she transferred to J&J GmbH in Germany, as Director of Marketing. In 1992, she became President of J&J Canada; in 1994, President, Personal Products Company, U.S.; in 1995, President, Consumer Products Company; she was promoted to Company Group Chairman in 1998.
Ms. Goggins earned a B.S. in food chemistry from the University of Wisconsin and an M.S. in marketing and finance from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
Ms. Goggins is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Sea Research Foundation, Inc. as well as the Board of Trustees for Historic Morven, Inc.

Campus-Wide Open House
All UW-Madison faculty and staff are being invited to attend an open house for the east wing of Grainger Hall on Friday, September 12 from 1:30 to 3 p.m.
The Wisconsin School of Business is inviting campus colleagues to celebrate the opening of the new addition, while enjoying punch, cake and Grainger Granite Crunch ice cream. Seating for the event will be in the Capital Cafe's first floor dining area. Tours will be offered as part of the open house.

Real-time sensor data, particularly RFID data, provides new possibilities to improve the quality of supply chain processes. This talk examines a basic framework for examining the timeliness and correctness of the movement of items and/or transactions through a sequence of supply chain events. The nature of the data poses special issues for statistical process control and process capability analysis.
