How It Works

The Wisconsin Evening MBA program offers a general management concentration. The program meets Monday and Thursday evenings for 32 months. You attend class through mid July in year one and two and through mid May in year three. You also attend two weekends (Friday and Saturday) during winter break in the first and third years, and an exciting international trip over winter break in the second year. 80% of the students in the program have their tuition paid in part or whole by their employer.

You start in the fall with a class of approximately 60 and take courses together throughout your 32 months. Got a background in operations? Expect to share your expertise with classmates. Know how to crunch numbers? You’ll be popular with your study team when it comes time to tackle “Financial Accounting.”

When you graduate with your Wisconsin Evening MBA degree, you’ll have a general management concentration that provides a solid foundation for multiple roles within a wide variety of business organizations.

Balancing Education and Employment

The Wisconsin Evening MBA program is especially designed to enable you to achieve an MBA in general management from a world-class university while still fulfilling the daily needs of your workplace.

The School of Business created the program in response to requests from potential students and their employers. They asked for a program that would allow employees to advance their business education without interrupting their careers.

The lock step structure of the program allows our students to attend class with minimal time away from work over the 32 months of the program.

Duluth Trading Co.
Class of 2002

“All of my promotions stem from what I learned through the Wisconsin Evening MBA program. It gave me a broader business prospective, helped me hone my management skills and strengthened my expertise in marketing and product development. If you can apply what you learned at night in the program to what you do in your day job, you get so much more out of the experience. It is a real benefit.“
