Congratulations on your admission to the Wisconsin Evening MBA Program. You have now become an integral member in a school that has a long-standing tradition of excellence in graduate management education.
Summer Picnic - Save the Date
The annual Evening MBA summer picnic for all current Evening MBA students will be held on Sunday July 11th at Vilas Park in Madison, WI from 3:00pm-6:00pm. The picnic is a great way to meet your new fellow classmates as well as second year and third year students. Details, menu, map and invite/RSVP will be sent to you in May 2010.
Orientation - Save the Date
Orientation for Fall 2010 will be held on Monday, August 23rd (4:30pm-8:55pm) and Thursday, August 26th (6:15pm-8:55pm). A confirmed Orientation schedule and event details will be sent to you in August. ORIENTATION IS MANDATORY.
Enrollment
All course enrollment is completed online. You will receive an invitation to enroll and instructions on how to enroll at the MyUW student portal from the Registrar's Office in late summer 2010. Specific course information will be e-mailed to you from the Wisconsin Evening MBA office in late summer also. The Evening MBA courses are not listed in the Timetable. You can enroll for your classes once you receive information from the Registrar's Office and detailed course information from our office.
Student IDs
Effective January 5th 2009, the student ID office will be located in Memorial Union (Room 4316 in the fourth floor’s east wing) for UW-Madison photo ID cards, passport photos and other Wiscard services.
You can obtain your student ID
48 hours after you enroll during regular business hours (Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:15pm). The
office is open through the noon hour. EvMBA students will have a reserved
time in the evening to obtain their ID cards during the Evening MBA Orientation . If
you decide to obtain your student ID before Orientation, contact Vicky Myint at vmyint@bus.wisc.edu so she can take you off the ID schedule during Orientation. Parking around
Memorial Union is very limited.
Computer Proficiency
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is a prerequisite for the Eveining MBA program. If you are not proficient in any of these programs, you will need to complete appropriate training courses prior to matriculation in the fall.
Parking
The School of Business provides parking passes for Evening MBA school nights
at no additional charge. Parking passes will be distributed at
Orientation.
Coach Service from Milwaukee
Milwaukee area residents are provided with coach shuttle service to and from Grainger Hall (Wisconsin School of Business) on Evening MBA school nights at no additional charge.
Textbooks, Syllabi & Course Packets
The Wisconsin Evening MBA Office will send information on all instructional materials in August 2010.
Tuition Bills
Tuition bills are posted for each student via the MyUW website. Tuition is due by the end of the first month of each semester. Tuition for 2010-2011 has not been set yet. Tuition will be confirmed in the summer of 2010.
