The Wisconsin MBA program ranked 29th in the 2007 U.S. News & World Report rankings (there are 487 graduate programs accredited by AACSB). It ranked 11th among public university programs.

In its latest biennial ranking of MBA programs, BusinessWeek rates the Wisconsin MBA program #4 in the nation in terms of fastest return on students’ investment.


The undergraduate program in business was ranked 13th by the U.S. News & World Report in 2006.

The business school's Entrepreneurship program was ranked among the top 24 in the nation by Entrepreneur Magazine.

Executive Education programs were ranked 32th in the world and 17th in the U.S. by the Financial Times.

The Executive MBA program was ranked 41st in the world by the Financial Times.

The Real Estate program at both the graduate and undergraduate level is ranked among the top handful of programs in the nation.

UW-Madison students placed third nationally in terms of passing the CPA and Certified Management Accounting exams from 1993-2002.

Wisconsin is one of 32 universities to be awarded a national Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER).
