M. Keith Weikel Enterprise MBA Programs Speaker Series
About this Event:
Self-awareness, decision-making and teamwork are some examples of key leadership practices which can be improved by a deeper understanding of how our brains function in today’s fast-paced work environments. Neuroleadership is an emerging frontier that integrates neuroscience research and leadership techniques, providing significant insights to help leaders develop more effective approaches.
Neuroscience seeks to determine critical aspects of leadership and followership, including executive thought processes, emotional intelligence and team dynamics. Recent studies have focused on identifying the scientific basis for why certain leadership behaviors work and some do not. Lori Cross, an Enterprise MBA faculty member, seasoned executive and founder of Mindspan, LLC will share with us some of the most useful Neuroleadership discoveries at our upcoming February 6th session. Lori has over 26 years of real-world experience in neuroscience and leadership with organizations such as Datex-Ohmeda and VIASYS (Nicolet). Her expertise in strategy formulation, execution and leadership has helped many global organizations and Enterprise MBA students to embrace and execute dynamic strategic change .
Come join us to learn how increasing your awareness of Neuroleadership principles and applying the insights to your daily practices can significantly improve your overall performance, work relationships and followership.
