Mike KnetterAlbert O. Nicholas Dean, Wisconsin School of Business University of Wisconsin-Madison Education: Biography: Knetter has published widely in the areas of international and macroeconomics. He served as senior staff economist for the President's Council of Economic Advisors for former presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton. He is a research associate for the National Bureau of Economic Research, a director of Wausau Paper and Great Wolf Resorts, a faculty affiliate of the La Follette School of Public Affairs and a trustee of Neuberger Berman Funds and Northwestern Mutual Series Fund. He is chairing the capital campaign for Interfaith Hospitality Network, a non-profit that assists in finding housing and work solutions for homeless families in Dane County. Knetter completed his undergraduate studies in economics and mathematics at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and his Ph.D. in economics at Stanford University. |
