Tom Madsen was the global head of equities at UBS Global Asset Management when he left in 2008. He had been a managing director of UBS Global Asset Management since February 2000 and a portfolio manager of the UBS International Equity Fund and the UBS Global Equity Fund since February 2000. Madsen holds a Charted Financial Analyst designation.

Prior to joining UBS in 2000, Madsen held various positions at JP Morgan, becoming head of equity, research and trading.
