Undergraduate Majors
Hiring Business Undergraduates
The outstanding caliber of the undergraduate program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business is widely recognized. U.S. News and World Report has ranked our undergraduate program among the top 15 programs in the nation every year since it began evaluating undergraduate programs.
Our Real Estate program is routinely ranked as one of the top five programs in the nation and our real estate alumni are a major influence on the industry throughout the country. During the past decade, our accounting program has been among the very best in terms of percentage of students passing the CPA exam.
The quality of students coming to UW-Madison continues to rise, as does the quality of students who go on to major in business, entering the School of Business as juniors. Only the cream of the crop earn admission to the School of Business. Our undergraduates are known for their technical skills, hard-work ethic and strength as team players—all qualities that employers have told us are key characteristics needed to succeed in today’s business world.
We have developed strong ties with the more than 350 companies that recruit our undergraduates annually. We offer in-depth, personal attention to make recruiting at Wisconsin both easy and productive. The staff of our Business Career Center work closely with recruiters on career fairs, on-campus recruiting, online job postings, free videoconferencing interviews and many other services.
Our BCC Corporate Partners Program allows employers to increase their visibility on campus and invest in the lives of the students they will be hiring. Support from BCC Corporate Partners is used to enhance opportunities for students to prepare for the interviewing process and the workplace. BCC Corporate Partners receive recognition in a variety of printed materials and on the BCC’s website. We welcome your involvement.
We are a charter member of AACSB International-The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Many undergraduate programs are not AACSB-accredited.
