Speaker Biographies
John Sheffy is the UW-Madison Peace Corps representative. He served as a natural resource management volunteer in Togo (2002-04). He worked with community organizations on organic agriculture, animal husbandry, aquaculture, and helped them start a coffee-roasting cooperative. He also participated in the Peace Corps Masters International program that allowed him to conduct his forestry field research while serving. Peace Corps helped launch his current career as a project manager and researcher for sustainable agriculture business projects at home and abroad.
