This lecture also marks the launch of a new initiative, Wisconsin & the Global Emerging Regional Powers. This joint Wisconsin School of Business-Division of International Studies initiative is intended to enhance international aspects of the business school curriculum and strengthen professional tracks within area and international studies programs. It aims to foster greater understanding of emerging regional powers in the university community and among business and government leaders.

Speaker Biographies
Dr. Kuczynski is a senior advisor and partner at the Rohatyn Group, an investment firm focused on emerging markets with approximately $2 billion in assets under management. He is also Chairman of AMG, a leading global special metals company. Dr. Kuczynski has held many leadership positions in the Peruvian government and is credited with the macroeconomic success of Peru between 2001 and 2005. He has been president and chief executive officer of the Latin America Enterprise Fund LP since its inception in 1994.
