Export Transportation and Documentation

Overview

Organized by the Madison International Trade Association (MITA), this is the second in a series of programs that are designed for the benefit of new-to-export companies, as well as for companies needing to brush up on the export process. Following up on MITA's October program on developing a successful export strategy, the November program will address such issues as role of the freight forwarder; comparison of transport modes; cargo insurance and risk management; preparation of documents; and control of goods/assurance of payment.

Speaker Biographies

Randy Kupfer has worked at M.E. Dey for 23 years. He has taught export documentation classes at Gateway Technical Institute in Kenosha and participated in many seminars dealing with the various aspects of exporting. Randy has a BBA degree from Concordia University in Milwaukee and has been in the export field for 29 years.

Paul Eversman has over 20 years experience in international banking, including working with importers and exporters and foreign correspondent banks. Prior to joining Associated Bank’s International Banking Department, he worked for Firstar Bank for 23 years, serving as Area Manager for Canada, Europe and the Middle East, in addition to other responsibilities. Paul has a BA in German and an MBA in Finance, both from Indiana University.
