Bruce H. Paynter, former Group President - North Atlantic Personal Care for Kimberly-Clark received his MBA ('83) and MS ('76) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Mr. Paynter's 25-year Kimberly-Clark Clark career began in brand management, evolving into general management.  He held positions in Family Care (facial tissue, paper towels, toilet paper, and paper napkins), Adult Care, Feminine Care, and Customer Development.  His positions included a range of both North American and global responsibilities.  In his Kimberly-Clark tenure, he had the privilege of stewarding some of the most globally recognized brands in the world, including KLEENEX(r) facial tissue, HUGGIES(r) diapers, KOTEX(r) feminine products, SCOTT(r) tissue products, and DEPEND(r) products.  He was integrally involved in the 1996 Scott Paper merger.  In 1996 Advertising Age recognized Mr. Paynter as one of the top 100 marketers.

Prior to earning his MBA, Mr. Paynter worked in the field of education. He taught in both public and private education systems.  He was also involved in the development of a diverse range of educational programs, including migrant education, inner-city education, and gifted and talented education.
