Richard Gerstein Senior Vice President - Marketing Sears Holdings was created in connection with the merger of Kmart Holding Corporation and Sears, Roebuck and Co., which was completed on March 24, 2005. The company generates approximately $50 billion in annual revenues and includes approximately 3,800 full-line and specialty retail stores, and related service businesses in the United States and Canada. In his position he is responsible for all of Sears Holdings’ marketing and is charged with driving the growth and increased customer relevance of Sears, Kmart and their core brands along with providing heightened focus on the company’s differentiating strengths and businesses. He reports to W. Bruce Johnson, interim president and chief executive officer. Richard Gerstein joined Sears Holdings in 2007 as Chief Marketing Officer for Sears. Prior to that we work for Alberto Culver Beauty where he was the Global Chief Marketing Officer and SVP of the U.S. Business. Prior to Alberto Culver Beauty, he was President/Chief Executive Officer of Reflect True Custom Beauty, LLC. He spent 12 years of his career at Procter & Gamble in various marketing and management posts. His roles included Brand Manager, Marketing Director and General Manager Global Beauty and Innovation. Richard received a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
