Since joining Kraft Foods in early 1992, Tim has advanced through a number of marketing, strategy and general management assignments to his current position as President, Kraft Pizza Company. In this role, Tim is responsible for the industry-leading, $1.5 Billion Kraft Pizza business which includes DiGiorno, Tombstone, Jacks, South Beach Living and California Pizza Kitchen brands. In addition to strategic and full P&L responsibility for the business, Tim manages a dedicated executive team representing marketing, sales, operations, finance, technology, quality, human resources and strategy professionals.

Prior to his current position, Tim was General Manager of Oscar Mayer Foods, America's leading meat company and another business unit with Kraft Foods Inc. He led the business to strong growth across the Oscar Mayer meats portfolio of cold cuts, hot dogs and bacon as well as Claussen Pickles, Boca Meat Alternatives and Lunchables Lunch Combinations. Before Oscar Mayer, Tim was the Vice President - Chocolate in the European Union. Tim led a broad, multi billion dollar portfolio of Europe's finest chocolate brands including Milka, Toblerone, Cote d'Or, Freia, Marabou & Suchard brands. He had P&L responsibility as well as strategic and marketing leadership across 26 countries. During his four year tenure, the business turned from a flat / declining profile to strong growth driven by innovation, scale leverage and excellence in marketing.

Cofer received an M.B.A. from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management (Valedictorian) and a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from St. Olaf College (Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa).

Cofer has recently joined two boards. He is board member of AFFI - the leading industry association of Frozen Foods and on the board of the Center for Brand and Product Management at the University of Wisconsin. He previously served on the board for Second Harvest. He is currently a resident of Chicago, Illinois where he lives with his wife and two sons.
