Procter & Gamble

"Procter & Gamble and I are really excited to be participating in the Center for Brand and Product Management at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Through their generosity, Signe Ostby and Scott Cook have initiated a project in partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business, which will importantly improve the capabilities and technologies associated with product management. As a company that manages branded products, we are very interested in participating in the curriculum and hiring several of the top-flight graduates that will come out of this program.

As an MBA student myself and as a technical graduate in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I believe there is tremendous power in joining the capabilities of the School of Business, the A.C. Nielsen Center for Marketing Research, the Grainger Center for Supply Chain Management, and the technical capabilities of the College of Engineering to provide a product management education which is not available anywhere else in the country.

As an employer, Procter & Gamble works hard to bring these various concepts together as we train and develop our Brand Managers to lead product management. Because of the integrated curriculum and the focus on product management, graduates from this program will certainly have a leg up as they enter our product management program.

Within Procter & Gamble, almost three-fourths of our 100 General Managers come from our product management program. We are looking forward to graduates from this program succeeding in our product management program and becoming important contributors to the success of our business."
