Student BuckyNet Registration
Students previously registered on BuckyNet
To insure that we accurately convey your current academic and career plans to recruiters, the BCC requires that each new academic year returning BuckyNet users update the following:
- Online Registration Contract, included in the "Registration Contract" tab of your BuckyNet account
- Resume(s) uploaded into their BuckyNet account
- BuckyNet profile.
In August BuckyNet student accounts are blocked for online application to BuckyNet job opportunities until all updates have been completed. Reports are run daily Monday-Friday to identify the updated accounts which are then unblocked. Contact the BCC if your account has not been unblocked within 2 working days of completing the three updates listed above.
Attending an additional orientation session is not mandatory, but highly recommended for students not using BuckyNet frequently in the past.
Each new academic year, continuing non-business students must first register with their home career services office. Letters & Science and School of Human Ecology students should request that an e-mail passport be forwarded to the BCC to confirm the completion of this step. Contact the BCC if your account is not unblocked within two business days of completion.
New Student BuckyNet users
- To register for BuckyNet, you must successfully complete the following steps:
- Attend a mandatory BCC Orientation Session *
- Log-in to BuckyNet and complete your profile, including the “Academic” and “Personal
Information” tabs and the "Registration Contract" tab with the BuckyNet Registration Contract - Upload a resume
- BCC activates your account ** (M-F, 8:00am – 4:30pm)
* After attending the orientation, you will receive an e-mail containing your username and password. Log in to BuckyNet and complete the profile and documents screens. Keep this information current by editing as needed since it ties to interview eligibility and resume searches.

A complete registration includes an uploaded resume and the first three tabs under the Profile section in BuckyNet: Personal Information, Academic Information, and Registration Contract.
