BuckyNet Student Overview

BuckyNet is the password-protected, web-based information system used by the Business Career Center (BCC) to manage all aspects of the recruiting program including on-campus recruiting (OCR), job postings (nonOCR), student resumes (resume book), and career events. In addition access to Vault, WetFeet, InterviewStream (Rezfuzion), OptimalResume, Work in Sports and other career-related resources is available to current students through their student BuckyNet account.

Symplicity CSM - Symplicity Career Services Manager is the administrative software used by the BCC to manage BuckyNet. Contact the BCC for a username and password.

BCC Registration - All students must register with the BCC each academic year to use BuckyNet. New BuckyNet users must attend a BCC Services Orientation.

BuckyNet Registration - All students must complete a user profile and upload a resume in order to respond to job opportunities in BuckyNet. Returning BuckyNet users are required to update their user profile and resume documents each academic year.

Blocked BuckyNet User Account – Student accounts may be blocked for an outdated profile or resume, an interview “no show”, or incomplete/inaccurate demographic information. Contact the BCC for questions about your blocked account. All participants must have completed BuckyNet registration and have an unblocked account in order to respond online to all BuckyNet activities.

On-Campus Recruiting
– The BCC service is often referred to as OCR. Opportunities are announced in BuckyNet, interested candidates submit a resume, intervew invitation and sign-up completed online through BuckyNet, and interviews hosted in Grainger Hall - BCC interview suite.
