Publicizing your Visit
- One of the best ways to publicize your visit is through BuckyNet. By entering a timely, complete, and detailed job description, you provide the students the information they need to make an informed decision about the job opportunity. It also gives the students time to research your company and the position, bringing to you the most informed, well-prepared candidates from which to choose.
- Be sure your Company Information on BuckyNet is complete and accurate, so that students may best research your company. Please send an email to bccenter@bus.wisc.edu to make any updates.
- In addition, you might search our Resume Database to identify students whom you would like to encourage to apply. A letter or e-mail from a prospective employer is a powerful motivator for many students, and tends to increase your pool of interested candidates.
- Information Sessions allow you to meet with students in an informal setting prior to the on-campus interview.
- The Career Forum, held at the start of Fall semester, is a great opportunity to meet with thousands of potential candidates, and to encourage promising students to look into your on-campus recruiting opportunities. As the Career Forum attracts students from across campus, it also offers you an opportunity to meet with students who may not yet be registered with the Business Career Center.
- Spring Biz Jobs Fair is a campuswide job fair which targets real-time hiring opportunities for full-time, part-time, semester, summer.
- BCC Corporate Partners enjoy many additional publicity benefits. This voluntary giving program allows you to show your commitment to the students' professional development by sponsoring their BCC registration fees and interviewing resources.
