Adding an Information Session

If you would like to schedule an information session, please follow these steps:

Add your event information to BuckyNet

  • Log on to BuckyNet
  • From the Quick Linksmenu select Request New Information Session.
  • Select BCC Sponsored Co. Information Session under Information Session Type.
    • Complete required fields, including start and end times, date of on-campus recruiting (OCR) schedule, and description of event. (When students sign up on your interview schedule, they will see the details you have submitted about your information session and there will be a link for them to RSVP.)
    • To make your event private: indicate this in the Description of Event memo field when you note the location. Your event description should indicate the fact that a company representative will contact all invited students to notify them of the location.
      • Tip: Be specific about timing!  Is it a 1 hour presentation?  Or is it three consecutive 20 minute segments, consisting of a company overview and a Q & A period?  This information is helpful to students with multiple events to attend.
  • Click Submit.
  • You will see a summary of your pending information session.

Note:  The BCC Recruiting Team will approve your information session within 2 business days (you will be notified via e-mail when it is approved) and students will be able to view event details immediately.

Monitor RSVPs.

  • Log on, go to Events, click on Information Sessions tab, and view total RSVPs in the far right column.
  • Click on information session date to view the names of students who have RSVP'd.  To e-mail students who plan to attend, put a check mark next to each name (or click the + sign to select all names), then click Mail to Checked and use the mail wizard feature.
