WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO COMPETE? Any student who is eligible for the competition and registered online is eligible to compete in the Mini-Competition and win a prize. To be eligible to win, simply present a TWO-PAGE summary (maximum) describing your proposed product / service and its target market by no later than February 12, 2009.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO? All contestants must clearly describe their product or service and clarify its value to its intended market. Be sure to quantify the potential market size, explain who will purchase your product/service, and convince the reader why they should buy it from you. Please include a quick summary of any plans you may have that detail how you intend to reach the market.
HOW DO I SUBMIT MY ENTRY? Email your entry by 4:00 P.M. on February 12, 2009 to burrill@bus.wisc.edu
JUDGING: All entries will be judged based on their ability to convince the judge that the idea has a chance to become a viable new product or service. To be eligible to compete we must receive your TWO-PAGE summary NO LATER than February 12, 2009. First prize for the Mini-Competition will be $250*, 2nd prize will be $150*, 3rd prize will be $75*, and fourth prize will be $25*.

*Winners must compete on April 17, 2009 in the Burrill competition in order to claim their Mini-Competition prize money.
