Tim Graham Tim Graham is the Senior Vice President and Chief Actuary at CUNA Mutual Group. Tim is responsible for valuation and related activities for CUNA Mutual Group’s businesses including overseeing product pricing. He came to CUNA Mutual from CNA Insurance Company, Chicago, IL, where he was the Senior Vice President and Actuary for the Specialty Lines Group. Prior to that, Tim spent 26 years at St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Company, serving in various senior actuarial and underwriting capacities. Tim received a Bachelor of Arts from Washington University in St. Louis, is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, and is a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Steve Rominske Steve Rominske is vice president and chief actuary for Wausau Insurance Companies. He is responsible for commercial lines loss reserving, rate making, price monitoring, and financial planning and information management for Wausau. Steve earned a bachelor’s of science with honors degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, an Associate in Underwriting and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Larry Pfannerstill Larry is a Principal with the Milwaukee office of Milliman, Inc. He joined the firm in 1995. Larry has over twenty years of experience in the financial aspects and risk analyses associated with health care, including both traditional health programs and managed care plans. Before joining Milliman, Larry was a consulting actuary at Reden & Anders, LTD. Prior to this position, he was a product development actuary at Pioneer Financial Services. Larry is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Jeff Close Jeff Close is the Staffing Manager in the Human Resources Division of American Family Insurance. Jeff manages a team of recruiters involved in staffing positions at American Family’s national headquarters in Madison, WI and all other Wisconsin locations. Jeff began his career at American Family in the Information Services Division. Jeff then moved to the Human Resources Division, where he specialized in IT and Actuarial recruiting and was extensively involved in campus recruiting and internship hiring. From there, Jeff moved into his current role. Jeff earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. He serves on the board of the Wisconsin Association of Colleges & Employers and is an Adjunct Instructor at Madison Area Technical College. jclose@amfam.com |

John Esch John Esch is the Senior Vice President of Corporate Actuarial at Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America. John manages a department of 65 and is responsible for reporting, analysis, and management. He came to Allianz Life Insurance Company in 2003 from Deloitte where he did consulting and auditing for 6 years.
