Co-curricular Learning Board

Mission Statement

To actively pursue opportunities to educate and connect students and industry making the UW- Madison School of Business, Actuarial Science, Risk Management and Insurance graduates the preferred students of employers

Objectives

To identify and create opportunities to enhance the co-curricular learning of students, such as: company on-site visits, brown bag "hot topic" gatherings, job shadowing, resume and interviewing sessions
To identify and create opportunities for students that encourage and promote interest in the professional fields of actuarial science, risk management and insurance
To bring together insurance professionals, students and faculty around the topics of actuarial science and risk management
To identify and initiate industry contacts for public relations and fund raising, for enhancement of the department.
